Dreaming of a car accident
A car in a dream is life's direction and control: driving smoothly is being in charge, a crash or failing brakes a warning to slow down.
In Thai dream lore
Thai books read a new car as luck, a position or new status, and driving smoothly as work moving forward well. A crash or a car rolling over is mostly a warning to take care when travelling and not decide too fast, though some books read surviving a great misfortune. A stolen car is feeling you have lost direction or something you were proud of, and failing brakes are matters moving too fast to control.

What psychology says
Cars are how we steer our lives; who drives in the dream often shows who you feel is in control. Sitting in the back while someone else drives may mean you feel you are not making your own choices. The Chariot shows a driver keeping two beasts on one course by will alone: victory through self-control.
Lucky numbers from this dream
Every TarotMod digit has a source you can check; nothing is random and nothing is copied from other sites. Thai books and websites give completely different numbers for the same dream, so we use a system you can follow step by step: Thai planet numbers, the Thai twelve-year animal cycle and tarot card numbers.

By the day you dreamt. If you know which night it was, put that day's number in front of the pair. The Thai day changes at 06:00, so a dream at 3 a.m. on Tuesday counts as Monday night, and Wednesday after 18:00 counts as Rahu (8).
| Night of | Day number | Three digits |
|---|---|---|
| Sunday | 1 (Sun) | 147 |
| Monday | 2 (Moon) | 247 |
| Tuesday | 3 (Mars) | 347 |
| Wednesday (day) | 4 (Mercury) | 447 |
| Thursday | 5 (Jupiter) | 547 |
| Friday | 6 (Venus) | 647 |
| Saturday | 7 (Saturn) | 747 |
| Wednesday night | 8 (Rahu) | 847 |
These numbers are for good fortune in the Thai sense, such as choosing a personal number, phone number or licence plate. They do not predict any draw: every draw is random, and every two-digit number always has the same 1-in-100 chance. The full method is on the dream interpretation page.

Frequently asked questions
Is dreaming of a car accident good or bad?
Overall, Thai books count it as a mixed dream, but the details matter. If the dream is “You get a new car”, it is a good sign. If it is “A crash, or the car rolls over”, it is a warning. Notice how you felt on waking too: waking calm usually points to good news.
What are the lucky numbers for car and accidents dreams?
With the TarotMod method the key digit is 4 (Mercury), the pair is 47 and 74 and the three-digit number is 407. A dream on Monday night gives 247; see the table on this page for other nights. They are numbers for good fortune, not predictions of any draw.
When in the night are dreams most telling?
Thai books rate pre-dawn dreams (02:00–06:00) as the most telling, showing within about 3–15 days; late-night dreams show in one to three months, early-night dreams after six months or more, and daytime dreams are not counted as omens. Scientifically, the hours before morning hold the longest REM periods, so those dreams are the most vivid and best remembered.
