About TarotMod

TarotMod aims to be the most thorough and verifiable tarot reference in Thai, with an English version of every page.

The author

The site is written and maintained by Mod, a student of Rider–Waite–Smith tarot, Western astrology and the Uranian astrology of the Hamburg School. With a background in engineering and mathematics, Mod designs every tool to be transparent, so you can see where each part of a result comes from — from the shuffle to the planetary positions.

Our principles

• Thorough and sourced. Card meanings follow the symbolism of the Rider–Waite–Smith deck (1909) and A. E. Waite's writing; elemental, astrological and Tree of Life correspondences follow the Hermetic Order of the Golden Dawn. Where something is our own synthesis, we say so.
• Original. Every page is written for this site; nothing is copied from any publisher's guidebook. The card designs are original too.
• Private. All tools run in your browser. Your question, name and birth date are never sent anywhere.
• Honest. We read tarot for self-reflection, do not claim certain prediction, and are no substitute for professional advice.

About the deck

The meanings here apply to every deck in the Rider–Waite–Smith family, including the Universal Waite from U.S. Games Systems, which uses the same line drawings recoloured. TarotMod is not affiliated with U.S. Games Systems and uses no images from any publisher's deck.

How the site is funded

TarotMod is free and funded by Google AdSense advertising. Ads are kept separate from content and clearly labelled "Advertisement". No content is written to sell any product or service.
